Rapper 2 Chainz has been taken to hospital after car crash
Rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed K. Epps, is hospitalized after he was involved in a car crash between three vehicles including a Mercedes, Nissan, and Toyota.
On Saturday morning, December 9, the 46-year-old Atlanta rapper was hit by a Tesla from behind while he was driving on I-95. The accident occurred just after he was about to exit a popular Miami-based strip club, Booby Trap.
On the other hand, another driver may have been driving under the influence, according to TMZ. Further, there is not much detail has been disclosed about the occupants.
The outlet reports that he is currently in stable condition at the hospital. However, he suffered neck injuries and other minor injuries from the accident.
The “I’m Different” singer also shared an Instagram story a video of himself being loaded into the back of an ambulance on a stretcher.

In a video, he also zoomed the camera on the black Tesla, which had extensive damage on the front left driver’s side of the car.
The rapper was in Miami for the star-studded Art Basel, a showcase of modern and contemporary art that was held to promote the visual album Welcome 2 Collegrove with Lil Wayne.
Rapper 2 Chainz: Latest Project
In November, 2 Chainz announced his collaboration with fellow rapper Lil Wayne in a joint album, Welcome 2 Collegrove via Def Jam.
At the same time, he also released the first single from the project, the Bangladesh-produced, “Presha”. The album is a sequel to his 2016’s Collegrove.
This is not the first time, the rappers have collaborated. They worked together in “Duffle Bag Boy” back in the latter artist’s Playaz Circle days.
They also performed together at the MTV Video Music Awards.
In August 2021, the rapper announced his seventh album would be his last trap album, titled Dope Don’t Sell Itself.
