Susan Brown Michael Bloomberg was previously married to Charles Henry Meyer following their divorce, she moved to New York.
She lived at the renowned Barbizon Plaza Hotel, a female-only hotel on Manhattan’s East Side. In New York, Susan’s friend connected her to Michael Bloomberg.
However, it is unclear how long they were dating before getting married. Similarly, the pair was married on December 15, 1976.
Furthermore, they have two daughters named Emma and Georgina Leigh Bloomberg. Georgia is well-known for her equestrian skills and philanthropic efforts.
She also has a son named Jasper Michael Brown Quintana. Her son’s father, Ramiro Quintana, an Argentine Olympic show jumping rider, is supposedly not involved in her or her son’s life.
Susan’s other daughter, Emma, is the most reserved of the two Bloomberg heiresses. She attended Harvard and Princeton and worked briefly at City Hall while her father was mayor.
After marrying Chris Frissora in 2005, she became more involved in the nonprofit community. However, in early February 2020, Emma quietly divorced Frissora.
Then she marries Jeremiah Kittredge, a disgraced charter school champion. They kept their marriage a secret for a year until Michael Bloomberg launched his candidacy for president.
Divorce
Susan Brown filed for divorce in 1993, after 17 years of marriage, according to Joyce Purnick’s 2009 book “Mike Bloomberg: Money, Power, Politics”.
Likewise, their children stated that their parents were incompatible. Furthermore, their divorce was cordial, and Michael Bloomberg has remarked that his ex-wife remains his “best friend”.
According to some stories, the family continued to live in the same house for months after Susan and Michael separated.
Susan also reportedly moved home with Bloomberg and their daughters momentarily after one of her later relationships ended.
Furthermore, she has spent vacations with Bloomberg, their daughters, and Diane Taylor. Brown was even involved in her ex-husband’s campaigns.
