Ruby Wax injured seriously on a holiday
Actress cum comedian Ruby Wax could no longer be on her tour in 2019.
She had to pull out of the Edinburgh Fringe 2019 after a 66-year-old suffered serious injuries while she was on a holiday. She is utterly disappointed that she had to cancel her tour.
The reps of the touring company Chambers Touring put up a statement to the effect which read:
“Following a serious accident on holiday Ruby has suffered severe injuries to her back and is unable to perform in Edinburgh.
“Under doctor’s orders, she is taking time out to recover, but will get the show on the road again as soon as she can.
“Ruby is incredibly sorry that she will not be able to perform the run which she had been so looking forward to.”
Ruby also puts up a Statement
The actress cum comedian Ruby Wax felt bad for her fans and apologized to them online. She stated:
“I’ve been coming to Edinburgh Fringe with my shows for over 30 years and always had the most amazing time.
“I am hugely disappointed and so sorry to everyone who has bought tickets.
“My injuries are quite serious and I do need to take the time to heal and recover.”
Ruby Wax and her shows
Ruby’s tour shows were to start on 18 August 2019 and continue till tomorrow 24 August 2019. The name of the tour was Ruby Wax: How To Be Human.
Now since the shows are canceled, the organizers of the show have said that they would refund the ticket money to the ticket holders whom they will contact soon.

Ruby has not given more insight into the nature of her injury. But she had earlier uploaded pictures of her holiday on her Instagram.
She was posing with a horse and looked great at that time. She was wearing a riding helmet and was kissing her horse.
Ruby had tweeted to her 142k fans:
“How has your week been?
“Have you used mindfulness successfully – tell us about a moment or exercise that particularly resonated. Let’s learn together.”
Her fans are upset with this sudden turn of events. But her next show at Playhouse in Norwich would be as per schedule in September. She posted online for her fans and future spectators what to expect from the show.
She said:
“I will also have a little help from the neuroscientist and the monk in the second half of the show: monk Gelong Thubten, who explains how the mind works.
“And neuroscientist Ash Ranpura who explains where everything that makes us ‘us’ can be found in the brain.”
Ruby said that her show would upgrade their mind and help them in doing so.
