Amber Heard is glowing again!
The controversial actress has been living in Madrid as the one-year anniversary of her and Johnny Depp‘s controversial trial nears.
On Sunday, the former actress was pictured smiling as she shopped some books at a book fair in the Spanish capital. She carried three canvas bags full of books after attending the event.
The Aquaman actress kept it low-key in an all-black outfit while doing some shopping. She wore black leggings and a tee shirt with a pair of black sneakers. She had a bad slung around her waist.
Photos showed that Amber had a great time at the event as she was smiling throughout the event.
Since relocation to the European city last month, she has been pictured many times in the city with her daughter Oonagh Paige, 2.
The infamous defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp reached its verdict on June 1, 2011, which is tomorrow.
Last month, an insider claimed that Amber was eager to leave the US with her daughter after losing the trial. They noted that she has more freedom and privacy in her new life in Spain.
Amber was spotted going shopping and running in the city earlier in May.
She was also seen happily posing for pictures with her fans outside her new residence.

Heard wanted to leave the US after Johnny Depp trial
An insider said at the time,
“The trial was beyond stressful for her, and she just wanted to start fresh out of the country,”
“She is excited about working and filming again. She was exhausted and disappointed about the trial. She felt she was mistreated.”
The source added,
“This is all behind her now, though. She has new energy and is focused on things that she loves.”
While Heard is happy in Madrid, her supporters publicly criticized the Cannes Film Festival for its decision to premiere Johnny Depp’s new movie, Jeanne du Barry. Not only that, Depp also received a standing ovation from the audience for his performance in the movie.
Many fans on social media used the hashtag #CannesYouNot to protest the 59-year-old actor’s inclusion in the French festival.
Amber’s close friend and journalist Eve Barlow posted a message using the same hashtag, writing,
“Cannes seem proud of their history supporting rapists and abusers.”
Amber’s sister Whitney liked the Instagram post.
Last year, the jury’s verdict ordered Miss Heard to pay $10.35 million in damages. The then-couple reached an agreement in December that she would pay him a million dollars which the Pirates of the Caribbean actor would later donate to charity.
