Amber Rose talks about Kanye West and his decade-long bullying

The famous American model, Amber Rose was on the No Jumper podcast recently and spoke candidly about her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Kanye West.

Kanye is now the husband of Kim Kardashian and has four children with her. Amber said that she imbibed nothing positive from this ex-boyfriend of hers. She said that Kanye, 43 has been bullying her now for a decade after their split.

Amber explained:

“I’m a compassionate person. I have empathy. I’m a good person. That’s why people love me,”

“That’s why anybody I’ve ever dated loved me. You can’t really mention anyone that says anything really bad about me — except for him, because I got away. I’m not like him at all.”

Amber is least bothered about what Kanye tweets these days. The latter suffers from bipolar disorder. He has fallen into multiple controversies including problems with his wife Kim over these tweets.

Amber said:

“I don’t really think about him like that. For me, it’s just some guy that I dated 10 years ago. I don’t feel a connection where I’m, like, concerned. That’s not my business. That’s his wife’s business what he does.”

In 2015, Kanye said on The Breakfast Club that his wife Kim was not too thrilled about him having dated Amber. She had made him take 30 showers for it, he said.

Talking about this, Amber said:

“I opted out. I don’t know if he says things to make his wife more comfortable, but to slut-shame me and say you needed 30 showers, like, bro, you took me around the world. Since when do you need 30 showers?”

The couple’s relationship timelines and personalities

The two had dated for a couple of years from 2008 to 2010. But Amber said that their thinking did not match. She said:

“I like down-to-earth, cool people. I like compassionate people.”

Amber also revealed that some publication houses wanted her to write a book and trash her ex in public. But she denied any such move since she is not revengeful. Amber disclosed:

“He has picked on me for 10 years. He has bullied me for 10 years.”

Amber was dating rapper Wiz Khalifa in early 2011. He proposed to her in March 2012 and she accepted it. They wed on 8 July 2013. They have one child son Sebastian who was born in February 2013.

But the couple divorced on 22 September 2014. From the summer of 2017 to March 2018, she dated rapper 21 Savage. He was 9 years younger than her.

Talking about her sexuality in 2009, she said:

“I’m extremely open with my sexuality. I can be in love with a woman, I can be in love with a man. As far as humans go, I definitely find beauty in everybody, whether they’re heavy-set, super-skinny, if they’re white, black, Indian, Asian, Spanish. I can see beauty in anybody. If I see a woman and I think she’s beautiful and I like her, and she likes me back we can definitely try to be in a relationship together.”

She had dated a trans man. She is now in a relationship with Def Jam record label executive Alexander ‘A.E’ Edwards. The two share a son named Slash who was born in October 2019.
