Another marital relationship has come to an end. Wrestling legend, Ric Flair, 75 has divorced his fifth wife, Wendy Barlow. He announced about it on his Instagram account recently.

Ric Flair ends his marriage

American professional wrestler, Ric Flair, 75 wants to put an end to his marital relationship with his fifth wife, Wendy Barlow, 64. Ric uploaded an emotional post on his Instagram in which he announced about his divorce. He wrote:

‘Wendy and I enjoyed 13 great years,’
‘As with every couple, we have experienced our ups and downs. [But] I think it’s important for everyone to know right now that we have decided to part ways respectfully.’

It is an amicable divorce due to busy work schedules. Further, Ric explained:

‘I’ll never be able to thank her enough for standing by my side through my terrible health crisis in 2018. She never left my side! And for that I will always be grateful!’

Ric expressed his gratitude writing:

‘I wish her the best of luck with her projects and I know that she supports mine.’

The relationship of the couple

Ric met Wendy around 40 years back. This was when both of them used to work at the World Championship Wrestling.

Wendy is a retired All-American-ranked professional tennis player. She used to do wrestling shows with Ric. She portrayed the character of Fifi who was his personal valet and a French maid.

Later, in 2014 after his divorce from his fourth wife, Ric started a relationship with Wendy. And, on 12 September 2018, the two exchanged wedding vows at a resort in Florida. In January 2022, the two had briefly split for few months. But they reconciled in May 2022. However, this time the split is permanent.

Ric’s past relationships

Until now, Ric had five marriages and five divorces. The name of his first wife was Leslie Goodman. The two walked down the aisle together on 28 August 1971. They have two children: a daughter called Megan and a son called David. Ric and Leslie divorced in 1983.

The same year on 27 August, Ric married his second wife, Elizabeth Harrell. They took have two children: daughter Ashley and son Reid. However, Reid had a drug overdose death on 29 March 2013. After 23 years of marriage, Elizabeth and Ric divorced in 2006.

Ric found another woman, Tiffany VanDemark who was a fitness competitor and started a romantic relationship with her. The couple exchanged wedding vows on 27 May 2006. However, this marriage of Ric also did not last. In 2008, Tiffany filed for divorce from Ric. The court granted them divorce in 2009.

Soon after, on 11 November 2009, Ric married his fourth wife, Jacqueline Beems. The wedding ceremony was in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ric divorced Jacqueline in 2012 and their divorce got completed in 2014.

Ric was born in Tennessee. He is a world champion sixteen times. He is a wrestling legend and his career spans over six decades.

His children have also competed in wrestling matches. David is a retired professional wrestler. Reid also was a great high school wrestler and did WCW shows before his premature death. Megan and Ashley also were into wrestling for some time.
