Pregnant Amy Lou Smith gives birth to a baby girl hours before her audition aired
Amy Lou Smith is now officially a mom! The tanning shop receptionist, 34, who gave an audition for Britain’s Got Talent when she was pregnant, has given birth to her baby into this world.
Smith is blessed with a baby girl. The baby arrived just hours before her audition aired on ITV1. Amy Lou confirmed the news with The Sun,
“My beautiful BGT baby, what a surreal thing to say! The fact she’s already been on stage in front of Simon and the other judges is crazy. She will be able to tell her friends when she’s older that she met Simon Cowell when she was in my tummy!”
“I cannot believe that all the stars are aligning and that I get to share this moment with my baby girl and family.”
She revealed her newborn became an instant celebrity on the ward of the hospital. The singer continued,
“All the nurses were showering her in so much A-list treatment. I haven’t stopped smiling – well perhaps not through the actual birth – but dreams really do come true.”
“All I’ve ever wanted to do is give my children the best life possible. I’m so happy that Aida has arrived safe and well. We are complete as a family, and our perfect girl has provided so much joy to us all.”
Smith then went acknowledge that she had no idea her audition would be shown during the first episode, describing it as ‘perfect timing’.
In addition, she revealed her little princess name i.e, Aida who was born at 3.59 pm on May 15, weighing 5lbs 14 ounces. Similarly, the singing sensation is already a mom to four years old child named Hudson.
In January 2023, her audition was filmed at the London Palladium during which she received a standing ovation from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli.
