‘Love in Trouble?!’ Amy Robach’s friends Are Worried Her and TJ Holmes’ Relationship Won’t Last!
- Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ affair is making headlines for months now.
- Amy’s friends believe that the couple’s love affair is just for a short period of time.
- Holmes went jewelry shopping for Robach ahead of her 50th birthday celebrations.
Amy Robach’s friends seemingly disapprove of her relationship with TJ Holmes
Amy Robach‘s friends are not liking her relationship with TJ Holmes, like anybody else. Robach herself might be truly buying their love story too, according to her close ones.
Amy’s pals think the former news anchor is ”painting a picture of how happy in love they are.”
The reason why her friends are so concerned is that she gave up her successful career for someone who might leave her.
One source said that after ABC gave her and Homes the boot, she “is still saying this is it… [they’re] the real deal, but it’s starting to feel maybe more like — instead of [her] being a firm believer [of their love], now it’s more like she’s trying to convince herself that’s the case,”
Another source close to the lovebirds said that the couple told them they were best friends.
One insider previously said,
“They’re two consenting adults who ended up loving each other. They were both going through their own hell [in difficult marriages]. They’ve been there for each other,”
The source also confirmed that Amy’s friends are still anxious and “are really trying to get through to her in a way… maybe it’s starting to work a little bit, but she truly feels like they’re in love,”
Robach and Holmes are waiting to finalize their divorce with their spouses
Her friends are also upset over the fact that she gave up her successful ABC job for someone who can not stay faithful to one woman.
The concerned source said,
“It feels like Amy threw away her career. She’s talented. She’s so good. Why did she do this? How long is it going to last?”
The lovers are now jobless and are looking for a new network. A source rubbished rumors of them joining NewsNation in the near future, saying,
“It’s definitely not true. That’s not going to happen.”
Both Robach and Holmes were suspended from the news network. It happened after the news of their affair reached its peak in November 2022.
Just four days after their suspension, Kim Godwin, president of ABC announced that the co-anchors would not appear on air. It was because their new affair was an ‘internal and external distraction.’
Since then the couple has not tried hiding their relationship from the public glare, despite strong negative public emotions toward them.
Their respective 12-year-long marriages were also greatly affected by their affair- with both couples splitting after learning about their affair.
The affair continued to open more extramarital cases of Holmes – who had affairs with at least two other women in the network.
Holmes’s wife Marilee Fiebig, with whom he shares a daughter, Sabine, 13, filed for divorce shortly after Christmas.
Robach’s husband, actor Andrew Shue, on the other hand, is waiting for their divorce to be finalized.
