James Haven talks about protecting sister Angelina Jolie’s kids
Actress Angelina Jolie‘s brother James Haven opened up about his sister’s kids.
Haven revealed that he became very protective of the actress’s kids after her controversial split from Brad Pitt.
When co-host Jessica Entner asked James how he supported Jolie after her personal life “unfolded in the public eye,” he admitted that he needed to change his life to be there for his family.
He said on Sunday,
“That’s where it all started, it started with the protection of her and her children — my nieces and nephews,”
“I set my life up so I can be present with whatever the situation,”
“I want to be there for them or for her — whatever she’s going through.”
The 52-year-old actor explained that it was important to be there for his nephews and nieces during the tough time.
He added,
“They’re becoming young adults early 20s,”
“I think it’s just very natural and I just want to be there any time.”
James continued,
“Anytime I’m blessed to be in their presence, I want to be in their presence,”

What ended Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s marriage?
Angelina, 48, and Brad, 60, share Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.
The exes who said I DO in August 2014, were together for 12 years when they shocked fans with the news of their divorce in 2016.
After the news of the separation spread, it was announced that the Mr. & Mrs. co-stars reportedly got into a fight while on a private plane with their kids in 2016.
Court documents later showed that the Bullet Train star allegedly choked one of their kids and struck another in the face.
The filing also detailed that Pitt even grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.
The documents read,
“At one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children,”
Pitt later admitted that he raised his voice at his kids but denied getting physical with any of them.
A source close to the actor later told The Post,
“Brad may have been drinking, and admits that he yelled at his son, but he insists he did not hit him or attempt to harm him. It was a confrontation that got out of hand,”
They even claimed that Jolie’s filing was Jolie’s smear campaign.
Angelina, for her part, seemingly admitted in September that she and her kids needed to heal after the divorce.
The co-parents received joint custody of all their kids in May 2021 but a judge threw out the ruling just a month later. This has not yet been resolved.
