American actor, Armie Hammer, 38 made a revelation about how he had hooked up with a man that he selected from a dating app.

Armie spoke about it on his podcast, Armie HammerTime Podcast. He stated that he wanted to explore his sexuality. Hence, he dated a male person from the dating app, Grindr. This man was a French person:

“I tried hooking up with a dude one time,”
“Handsome, French, you know, the whole thing. I was like, ‘Okay, this could work. Yeah, let’s try this.’”

Narrating further, Armie said:

“I started making out with him, and I just remember being like, ‘God, beards! Like I get why women like it when you shave. This thing is f–king rough. Like, how do I get in there?’”

He added:

“I remember I put my arms around him and I was like, ‘Oh my god and these shoulders are so wide. He’s so big, like he’s almost my height, this is so strange,’”

Armie Hammer’s experience with the male date

Armie went on to talk about how he felt hotter and heavier during the making out act. However, he was not aroused. He explained:

“And it did physically for me, absolutely nothing. Not even a twitch,”
“I was like, ‘I’ve got to stop this here,’ ‘This is not going to happen. I’m sorry.’”

Why did Armie want to make out with a man? He stated that this desire to do so was due to his belief at that time that women are extremely bad and that guys are much more better to deal with and handle.

Armie was doing great in his career. However, in January 2021, he was accused of sexual abuse and rape. Several women had come forward to state that he had sexually abused them. They also shared messages that they alleged were from the actor to them. However, Armie denied the allegations.

One of the accusing women, Efrosina Angelova had said that Armie had raped her in 2017. The Los Angeles Police started an investigation into his conduct. But no charges were framed against him. In 2023, Armie told Airmail that he had emotionally abused the complainants.

Armie Hammer’s wife, children and divorce

The actor had a wife who was American TV personality, Elizabeth Chambers, 42. The two had exchanged wedding vows in May 2010. The couple has two children together: daughter Harper and son Ford.

However, this marriage collapsed and in July 2020, the pair made an announcement on their social media that they have split. And after the allegations of sexual abuse against him, Armie was admitted into a clinic for correction of his alcohol, drug and sex issues.

Armie moved to Cayman Islands to be close to his children whose joint custody he shares with his ex-wife. He lost on new projects and had to sell his pickup truck due to financial issues.

Armie’s divorce was finalized in June 2023. Later, he moved to Los Angeles and stated that he was a victim of sexual abuse himself at age 13 when a pastor had assaulted him. He also had wanted to end his life in 2021 after the abuse allegations, he had said.
