A day before her engagement news, Ashley announced that she would be on The Voice at some point during season 25, which premiered on Monday, February 26.
She announced her blind audition for the reality singing competition via Instagram. She shared,
“Keep in mind, not every audition will air tonight/tomorrow, there’s a bunch of us. Who is Tom Nitti?
Tom Nitti is a fellow contestant of The Voice. He participated in season 24 of the show but left without warning in November 2023.
Nitti shared an Instagram post at the time revealing he was dealing with a complicated family matter. He wrote,
“Well, I’ve been dreading this day ever since the airing of my blind audition so here goes nothin’, First and foremost I’m blessed beyond belief and I can’t say enough how much I love and appreciate the constant support from my fans, my friends and my family … As much as it absolutely stings to say, I had to make probably one of the hardest yet easiest decisions ever and ultimately at the end of the day, my kids will always come first and if I had to make the same decision again I’d do it over and over.”
During an interview with the Utica Observer-Dispatch in December 2023, Nitti revealed that he had left the show due to personal reasons.
He had separated from his wife five months before the launch of The Voice season 24, and she was allegedly seeking primary custody of their two children, Rayleigh and Brently.
