The Australian top Chef Danielle Alvarez is the head chef of Fred’s restaurant in Sydney’s Paddington. She shared with her Instagram fans the simple recipe to create a perfect Italian salad recipe that will make every meal delicious. It uses only 7 ingredients and lasts for a week in the refrigerator.
She wrote on her Instagram:
‘It’s not just any salad dressing, this is my irresistible Italian dressing that can keep for up to a week (or maybe more) in the fridge,’

The ingredients used in the salad dressing of Danielle are extra virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, garlic, lemon, dried oregano, chili flakes, and shallots or onion.
The recipe is also an extremely simple one with 6 easy steps. The procedure is as follows:
Firstly chop the garlic and the shallots or onions into extremely small pieces. In place of shallots, one can also use onions. Place them into a small pan and add the extra virgin olive oil to it. Sizzle it for 5 minutes on a low flame.
After 5 minutes, add the chili flakes and dried oregano and again stir for one minute. Put the mixture into a jar and allow it to cool.
Then put in the vinegar and juice of half a lemon into this cooled mixture. Add a bit of salt and mix well. Close the lid of the jar. Danielle said:
‘Seriously this dressing is my [favourite] for home and you can also use it as a marinade for grilled meats or drizzled on cooked fish,’

100ml white wine vinegar
30g minced garlic
1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
40g minced shallots or onion
