A family of three! Ryan Giggs has welcomed his first child, a baby girl, with his girlfriend Zara Charles. The baby’s arrival news was confirmed after the couple were spotted in Trafford with their newborn on Monday, November 5.

The former Manchester United and Wales footballer, 50, appeared very happy as he pushed the baby in a stroller. He wore a green zip-up fleece and blue skinny jeans during their outing.

Meanwhile, the lingerie model, 36, looked radiant in a casual outfit wearing a beige polo neck jumper and a black leather jacket. She further paired the look with black skinny jeans and trainers, showcasing her post-baby figure.

According to Daily Mail, Zara gave to the baby girl, who they named Cora, on Friday, November 1, at a Greater Manchester hospital. A spokesperson told the outlet,

“Ryan and his partner Zara are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Cora Giggs who was born on Friday 1 November. They extend their warmest gratitude to all the amazing staff especially the midwives at Wythenshawe hospital.”

However, the couple has yet to announce the birth of their new bundle of joy.

In April, the happy couple announced their pregnancy revealing that they are expecting their first child together. Zara has been seen out and about with her growing baby bump over the last few months.

Ryan and Zara have been dating since 2021. The former football player also has two older children, Libby, 21, and Zach, 18, from his previous marriage to Stacey Cooke.

It is reported that Stacey and their children have given their blessing on the arrival of Ryan’s third child. Additionally, Zara has a daughter from a previous marriage.

Stacey and Ryan divorced in 2017 after it was revealed that Ryan had been having an eight-year affair with Natasha, who is his brother’s wife.

When this news became public, family members distanced themselves from Ryan. His father expressed feelings of shame regarding his son’s actions, while his brother Rhodri gained media attention by appearing in an advertisement that mocked Ryan.

Initially, Ryan and Stacey managed to stay together despite the affair. However, their relationship didn’t last long as Ryan again cheated on Stacey with Big Brother star Imogen Thomas. Ultimately, they seperated shortly after.

Currently, Stacey and her children appear to be happy with Ryan’s new relationship with Zara. A source shared that Ryan was initially ‘nervous’ about how his children would react to Zara.

Fortunately, they have gotten to know her over the years and have developed a fondness for her. A source explained to The Sun,

“Ryan was nervous about what his kids would think but they’ve got to know Zara over the last few years and really like her. They’re happy because they know he’s happy. But they’ve joked that he might struggle with the early mornings and lack of sleep. Ryan and Zara are thrilled at the prospect of becoming parents again, they have a very solid, loving relationship and are building a long-term future together.”

Another source mentioned that Stacey approves of Zara. The publication wrote,

“Stacey approves of Zara. Her and Ryan have been through a lot but they have moved on and she’s only interested in him being happy, because that makes him a good dad to their kids. There is no animosity.”
