Who is Beatrice Borromeo?
Many might know Beatrice Borromeo as a member of the Monaco royalty but she is more than that.
The Italian-born aristocrat is the daughter of Countess Donna Paola Marzotto and Don Carlo Ferdinando Borromeo who is the Count of Aron and hails from the Italian aristocratic house Borromeo.
The family started acquiring the Borromean Islands in northern Italy in the 16th century and still own a majority of them. Apart from that, they also own countryside estates in the country.
Her dad is related to Carlo Borromeo, the archbishop of Milan from 1564 to 1584.
Beatrice has an older brother named Carlo Ludovico Borromeo. Additionally, she has three half-sisters from her dad’s first marriage to Marion Sybil, a German model.

How educated is Beatrice Borromeo and what does she do for a living?
Beatrice Borromeo completed her secondary education in 2004 at Milan’s Liceo Classico Giovanni Berchet.
She then went on to study at Bocconi University in Milan and later even her Master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.
Right after that, she started working for Newsweek, the Daily Beast, and the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano.
She also invested her journalism skills into the small screen and worked for an Italian talk show and the airwaves where she hosted a weekly show on the Radio 105 Network.

Before her career as a journalist, Beatrice started modeling when she was just 15.

Beatrice and Pierre started dating in 2008 and tied the knot in the summer of 2015.
The couple married in a civil ceremony in the gardens of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. A few days later, they exchanged wedding vows in a religious ceremony in Italy.
The new bride wore four different gowns where two were from Valentino for the civil service and two by Armani Prive for their religious service in Italy’s Lake Maggiore.
Despite being born into novelty, neither Pierre nor Beatrice holds royal titles. Since Pierre is the monarch’s nephew from his sister’s side, he does not hold the title of a prince.
How many children does the couple have?
The couple is parents to two sons, Stefano Ercole Carlo was born in February 2017, followed by Francesco Carlo Albert, in May 2018.

In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair Espana, Beatrice revealed the relationship she shares with her husband. She said,
“Sometimes I think about how lucky I am to have created a real family with someone I trust completely, that we have been in love for almost 10 years and that I know it will last a lifetime,”
