Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are officially husband and wife! It was a very Gotham wedding on 2nd June 2017, at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in Brooklyn, New York. Also, their wedding day is Baccarin’s 38th birthday.

They married after getting engaged for seven months. The couple wed quietly in an intimate ceremony attended only by their close friends and family members.

Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin started going out public with their relationship from September 2015, when they were spotted getting cozy at Emmys afterparties. The couple met for the first time after meeting on the set of Fox drama in 2014.

In March 2016, they welcomed their first child, baby girl Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan now 15 months. Morena says,

“Ben’s the sweetest… It’s very nice to work with your significant other, especially when you’re pregnant because you know you’ll get some extra TLC and get taken care of.”

McKenzie told PEOPLE at the Gotham premiere ahead of his daughter’s birth in 2016,

Morena Baccarin’s previous affair

Morena was previously married. She was wed to Austin Chick, American film director. Together they share a son named Julius born in 2013.

The ex-couple had a messy split after Chick claimed in September 2015, that he and the Deadpool star weren’t separated when she conceived her daughter with McKenzie. In court documents at the time, Baccarin revealed her plans to marry McKenzie.
