2017 The Relapse
In 2017, Barry announced that his cancer had come back. This time it had returned as multiple myeloma. His Living Room co-stars Amanda Keller, Miguel Maestre, and Chris Brown and his fans were in tears on learning about the return of his cancer in his pelvis and spine. He restarted chemotherapy and was away from his TV show from February to March 2018.
After the second course of chemotherapy
Two months after the last dose of his chemotherapy, Barry now appears more radiant with a glowing complexion. His hair is growing back and his body fat ratio is less. He has survived the double lethal dose of chemotherapy.
Barry stated that he feels that it was positive thinking and meditation that worked to get him back to health besides modern medicine.
Mindfulness meditation, overhauling his diet, regular exercise, and positive psychology — used in conjunction with modern medicine are what did the wonder, according to Barry.
