Bill Murray, a legendary actor, and comedian was recently shooting for his movie Being Mortal when he agreed to be rude to a female.

The action led to a complaint from the woman which ultimately caused the suspension of the filming of the movie.

The actor said that the incident was mainly caused by to “difference of opinion” but he refused to comment on anything further; what happened or with whom it had happened.

In a TV interview, the actor said:

“I did something I thought was funny and it wasn’t taken that way,”
“The movie studio wanted to do the right thing so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it and so they stopped the production.”

Bill said that he and the unnamed woman are trying to make peace with the past and create a friendly environment on set. He didn’t comment on when or whether or not the filming would resume.

Murray further added:

“We’re both professionals,” Murray said of the woman. “We like each other’s work. We like each other I think and if you can’t really get along and trust each other, there’s no point in going further working together or making a movie as well.”

The Ghostbusters actor mentioned that he has learned a lot since the incident took place.

He added:

“It’s been quite an education for me,”
“The world is different than it was when I was a little kid. What I always thought was funny as a little kid isn’t necessarily the same as what’s funny now. Things change and the times change so it’s important for me to figure it out.”

Murray said he was optimistic that he is positive and hoped the production would restart soon but he would love to do it only if the woman involved in the incident was comfortable doing it.

On learning from his mistakes, he said:

“I think it’s a sad dog that can’t learn anymore.” “That’s a really sad puppy that can’t learn anymore. I don’t want to be that sad dog and I have no intention of it.”
