Billie Eilish Confirms She Came Out as Queer in a November Variety Profile!

Billie Eilish reveals her attraction to women
Billie Eilish didn’t know that her recent interview would be seen as a coming out, but she doesn’t mind it.
While appearing on the red carpet for the Variety Hitmakers brunch on Saturday, she said,
“I didn’t [know I was coming out], but I kinda thought, wasn’t it obvious?”
The Bad Guy songstress added,
“I didn’t realize people didn’t know,”
In a November Variety profile, the 21-year-old singer said,
“I’m physically attracted to [women]. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”
Elaborating her comments on the red carpet, Eilish joked,
“I’m still scared of [women], but I think they’re pretty.”
The Grammy winner said with a laugh,
“I saw the article, and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I came out today!’”
“I just don’t really believe in [coming out]. I’m just like, why can’t we just exist? I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I just didn’t talk about it.”
Confirming, Eilish said,

Billie Eilish’s dating history
Over the past few years, Eilish has dated a few different people. She was once linked to rapper Brandon Adams, whose stage name is 7:AMP (she called him “Q”).
Their love story was even featured in Eilish’s documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, which was released in February 2021.
In the documentary, Billie revealed that she wasn’t happy while dating him.
She told People magazine,
“I didn’t want the same things he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair for him. I don’t think you should be in a relationship super excited about things that the other person couldn’t care less about.”
After that, Billie publicly dated Jesse Rutherford, who is the singer of the band called The Neighbourhood. The couple who had an age gap of 11 years started their romance in October 2022 and called it quits in May.
A rep for the singer said at the time,
“We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends,”
After their short-lived romance, the singer was linked with Love, Victor actress Ava Capri, who is also queer, at an afterparty.
