Billy Baldwin who is the uncle of Hailey Baldwin feels that it would have been nice if his niece Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber had waited for a couple of years before they got married! He is the elder brother of Stephen Baldwin, 52 who is Hailey’s father.

Billy Baldwin and his opinion about the Hailey-Justin marriage

Uncle Billy Baldwin is happy about the wedding of Justin Bieber and his niece Hailey Baldwin but feels that they rushed things up.

He feels that it would have been better for their relationship if they had waited for a couple of years before walking down the aisle together. Billy, 56 told U Weekly:

“I love them as a couple and I would’ve loved to see them get married if they waited a couple more years,”

He continued:

“Maybe that would have been better, but they didn’t want to wait because they’re both devout in their faith and … that wasn’t the right fit for them so that’s really none of my business.”

Billy does support their wedding but he feels that they did it in a bit of a hurry. The Gossip Girl actor also revealed to U the advice that he had given Hailey, 22, and Justin, 25 when they decided to take their relationship to the next level. He said:

“I’ve said to them, ‘I hope you don’t jump right in and start having two and three and four kids right away,’”

He continued:

“I just hope that they have the next few years together where they can rampage and just globe trot and just tear it up and have fun.”

Billy himself had waited before he decided to have children later in his life.

Justin Bieber and Hailey have known each other for many years now but in the middle of last year, they rekindled their romance. In July 2018, Justin proposed to Hailey while on a holiday in the Bahamas. In September 2018, they quickly got married in a New York Courthouse. Earlier, they had dated each other from 2015 to 2016.
