What’s the cause of Bray Wyatt’s untimely death?
According to Wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp, Brayy died of a heart attack. The three-time WWE world champion had been dealing with heart problems earlier this year as a result of COVID-19.
He had subsequently made efforts to preserve his long-term health after the sickness, which was thought to be both career and life-threatening.
He had, however, made tremendous progress prior to his death and had been medically cleared to wrestle again as well. Sean Ross Sapp said in a statement,
“I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues. There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery, Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.”
Wyatt also opened up about his mental health struggle last year. He told,
“I lost my career. I lost my self-confidence. I lost two people who were very, very close to me. I lost my way. And I got to a point where I thought that everything that I’ve ever done here or otherwise, it was all meaningless. Nothing I’ve ever did has ever mattered to anyone. And I was wrong.”
He added,
“Once I was done feeling sorry for myself, I decided to go out in the world again and see… people everywhere that would say, ‘Thank you, Bray, man. When you coming back home?’ And then every once in a while there would be someone I would meet that would be truly remarkable.”
