A look at Britney’s career post conservatorship

A source at the time revealed that the One More Time hitmaker has not yet recorded any songs but the new project was ready to take shape.

Soon after that, Rolling Stone confirmed that Charli and Michaels were signing on to contribute. Producer Cirkut and songwriter Jason Evigan are also on board.

Insiders confirmed that the singer’s management and A&R “are trying to get her excited for the music” despite her unwillingness.

A source said,

“As of right now, she’s not actively in recording but they’re getting [songs] done to present to her,”

“Nothing is cemented or in stone.”

Both Michaels, 30, and Evigan, 40, helped Britney create her last album, Glory which she released in 2016.

In 2020, during the final years of her conservatorship, the mom of two dropped a deluxe version of the LP with remixes and new songs.

In her book, she spoke about the experience of recording Hold Me Closer. Spears said,
