Britney Spears is finally getting breaking her silence after her much-awaited reunion with her mom, Lynne Spears on Wednesday.
Spears shared her excitement on her social media on Thursday alongside a childhood snap of herself, writing,
“My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it’s been such a long time,”
“With family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!! And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!I love you so much !!!”
The pop princess added,
“Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!”
Reports suggested that their visit only lasted about half an hour and that Spears’ husband Sam Asghari was also present during their intimate meeting.
The sources also claimed that Britney was not so surprised by her mom’s visit as the two have been texting each other more frequently in recent times.
After having bad blood for years, the Toxic singer extended a reunion olive branch to her mom, 68, in late 2022.
The mom of two wrote in December,
“After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!!”

Britney hopes to reunite with her two sons
The post appeared after Lynne issued a public apology to her daughter for all the pain she had to suffer during her 13-year conservatorship.
Lynne wrote on Instagram,
“I love you so much and miss you!”
“Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I apologize for anything and everything that’s hurt you!”
Britney, however, was not pleased with her mom’s apology and asked her to go “f–k herself.”
Lynne said that she has always tried to maintain a good relationship with her daughter.
Britney finally got rid of her abusive and toxic conservatorship in November 2021 which was in control of her father Jamie Spears since 2008.
Now the Criminal songstress is also hoping to mend her broken relationship with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, whom she shares with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The then-couple welcomed Sean Preston in 2005 and Jayden in 2006 before calling it quits in 2007.
After being absent from their mom’s wedding to Asghari in June of last year, the boys proved that their relationship with their mom is not that good.
The boys were reportedly angry at their mom for posting nude pictures on Instagram.
