Brother found guilty for sexually abusing sister; Sister confronts her rapist ‘It Was Sexual Abuse, It Was Not Curiosity’

Brother sentenced for sexually abusing his sister in her childhood

Last week, a lady who is just 23-year old entered the courtroom. She confronts the 31-year-old man who raped and sexually abused her for more than four years.

At the time she was just a small child. The person is James Bailey, none other than her brother. Yes! you heard it right, she was sexually abused by her brother.

The devil started accusing her sister when she was just 9 years old. Their parents entrusted her brother that he would take care of his little sister. Their mom who is a nurse and their father work had so much traveling.

They didn’t have much time so the responsibility of the little girl Kathryn was handover to her older brother. Despite taking care of the little sister, he started abusing her sexually for more than four years.

Kathryn Bailey broke down in tears as she confronted the older brother who raped her for four years

Kathryn gave her statement with wet eyes. She completely broke down while saying how she had spent years mulling over it.

During the interrogation of the incident James, brother of the victim and who is also the culprit said only the word “Curiosity”.

After that Kathryn said, to James:

“It was sexual abuse, it was not curiosity,”

According to the sources, Bailey said she came in front to empower other people who are victims of sexual abuse. She said:

“Every victim deserves to feel good about themselves,”

She added:

“I came forward and now, I love the way I feel.”

James Bailey sentenced to 32 years in jail for his crime

James has been sentenced to punishment after he was found guilty. During the time of interrogation, he had said that it was a curiosity.

Moreover, he is sentenced to jail for 32 years. James has been an appealing pronouncement of guilt, saying he was on drugs at that time.

According to the instruction of the judge, James can’t make any type of contact with His sister for four decades. At the time of sentencing the punishment, she said her brother, who is a culprit, asked,

“How does possibility of 32 years sound to you? That’s 11,680 days and 280,000 hours. I’m positive that number will matter to you.”

As per the court officials, she had no idea about ending her speech.

Before sentencing his punishment, County Court Judge Stephen Dougherty called him “a despicable human being,” calling his crime the “worst” kind of offense one can commit:

“Taking and destroying the innocence of a child.” 

Court officials confirm that he told James he,

“betrayed every possible human instinct of care and devotion to a child.”
