So, who is this royal who has a large number of social media followers and who’s winning hearts worldwide?
Brunei is a small Asian country which is on the island of Borneo. Despite being small, Brunei is one of the world’s wealthiest nations and the prince enjoys his life to the fullest.
Abdul’s father, His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei, is one of the richest royals in the world with a net worth of $28 billion.
That amount is enough to provide Prince Abdul and his 10 siblings with the lavish lifestyle they want.
But it’s not only the riches that the prince is famous for. There are plenty of things that make him desirable, one of them being his impeccable manners.
One impressive thing about the Prince is that he owns white tigers and ocelots and regularly posts about his loved pets on Instagram.
Pictures of a leopard frolicking on his bed and one where he along with his tiger cub enjoy a beach time are viral on the internet. Now that is a lifestyle not everyone gets.

Abdul represented Brunei in the International Games
Not just a trained pilot, the Prince is a soldier by profession. He holds the rank of second lieutenant. Abdul earned the title in 2011 at the commissioning officer course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK.
The training was one of the toughest there is as it is 44 weeks long and very grueling. The prince, at one point, had to dig trenches for three days nonstop, and if he ever fell asleep, the commanders would kick him to wake him up. Definitely not what a prince would expect.
Additionally, the prince had to walk up seven mountains within a day during a 46-mile race.
No matter how difficult the task was, the Prince believes it made him mentally and physically strong. He also calls his graduation “the greatest thing he’s ever done”.
Apart from the princely side, Abdul also is a simple guy at heart. The royal once admitted that loves hanging out with his friends and watching movies. The prince believes despite his good fortune, it is extremely important for him to remain down to earth and humble at the same time.
Abdul thanks three of his closest friends for keeping him grounded.
GQ magazine, which interviewed him in 2016 said that his every sentence ends with thank you.
Abdul is also extremely fond of sports, like most royals. He once admitted that growing up, he really looked up to David Beckham. He enjoys adventures like snorkeling, skydiving, golfing, skiing, rowing, boxing, and horseback riding, to name a few.
The prince even represented his country at the Southeast Asian Games which were held in Malaysia in 2017. There he competed alongside his sister Princess Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah.
