Tina Knowles became a victim of a house burglary
Beyonce‘s mother, Tina Knowles lost cash and jewelry worth over $1 million after thieves allegedly broke into her house.
Law enforcement reported to TMZ on Sunday that an entire safe that housed the valuables went missing from her Los Angeles estate.
As per the outlet, the break-in was discovered on Wednesday morning when someone from her team stopped by her house and claimed that the hair stylist’s safe was not there.
TMZ also noted that Knowles, 69, was out of town when the burglary took place.
Police are currently working on the case and investigating any leads.
It is not exactly sure where Tina was at the time of the theft. But she shared a clip from her oldest daughter’s Renaissance world tour stop in Toronto.
She posted a video on Instagram, writing,
“Love this Camouflage Ivy Park @ivypark fit worn last night on the Toronto Show,”
“[In] love with all of the designs! @beyonce Renasancecworld [sic] Tour!”
The apparent burglary came just months after cops arrested a man at Tina’s house for causing a disturbance and damaging her property.
In April, authorities received a call saying that someone was throwing rocks at her mailbox.
The suspect was then placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold for behaving erratically.
Mrs. Knowles refused to press charges or file a police complaint report at the time.

Internet users, however, were not convinced that the theft actually happened. One wrote,
”Some clarification is needed. No crime was committed. Reparations were made available to people who don’t have her wealth via an open house to her house to come and get it.”
A second one added,
”$1million at home??? C’mon. Let’s see if insurance buys that story because I’m not.”
Another wrote,
”Please. A well known money racket for celebs. Report stuff stolen, collect insurance money. Sounds like Bey isn’t taking very good care of mommy.”
A fourth user commented,

Many claimed that it was an inside job or that she might have just lied about the situation.
