RIP Bushwhacker Buth! WWE Hall of Fame and Pro Wrestler passed away aged 78

Bushwhacker Buth is no longer alive among us
Bushwhacker Buth, whose real name was Bob Miller, passed away at the age of 78. His death was confirmed by his longtime tag team partner Luke, whose real name is Brian Wickens, on Monday, April 3 with a heartbreaking Facebook post.
The lengthy statement reads,
“Late last night, I lost my friend, brother and tag team partner of over 50 years with the passing of Bob ‘Butch’ Miller”
He reflects on their first meeting stating, “My first impression of Bob ‘The Chest’ Miller (as he was called in those days) was that he was a first-class redneck, and what bloody redneck he was!”
The two reportedly started wrestling in the early 1970s, and in 2015 they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Similarly, they were honored with the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020.
Buth reportedly arrived in Los Angeles on a flight from New Zealand on Wednesday to watch Wrestlemania, but due to a short illness, he was admitted to the hospital on Friday.

Sadly, Buth passed away on Sunday night. However, his death hasn’t yet been confirmed. At the end of the statement, William added,
“In life I had a brother and his name was Bob Miller. I love you, Bob. Until I see you again, WOOOOAHH YEEEEAAHH”
Bob is survived by his wife Helen, two daughters Sharon and Kirsten, and grandchildren.

As soon as his death was confirmed many took to the social media platform to express their grief on the sudden death of Bob Miller.
WWE also paid a tribute to him via Twitter,
“WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Robert “Bushwhacker Butch” Miller has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Miller’s family, friends and fans.”
As soon as his death was confirmed, many took to the social media platform to express their grief on the sudden death of Bob Miller.

Furthermore, Williams’ daughter, Jacqueline Williams, has also created a GoFundMe page to help with her father’s burial expenses. The fundraising page reads,
“The Bushwhackers were a fun comedy team. They entertained fans with their character work during what is known as the golden era of professional wrestling. Their contributions to the industry earned them a WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2015.”
Jacqueline added,
“From being the Sheephelders to the Bushwhackers in WWF they earned their spot in the industry history and they gave so much to us is time to give back to them. Please help us help Bushwhacker Butch Miller and his family to cover his medical bills and needs. Everything little amount counts. Let’s all show our love to a face only a mom can love.”
