Cardi B is not facing any legal charges after the microphone incident
Cardi B will be under any legal problems for hitting a concertgoer with a mic.
The rapper’s lawyers, Drew Findling, David Chesnoff, and Richard Schonfeld told TMZ on Thursday,
“This afternoon we were notified by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept., that as a result of their investigation, there will be NO charges against Cardi,”
“On behalf of Cardi, we appreciate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept’s diligent and prompt resolution of this matter.”
Shortly after, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker celebrated the news on Twitter.
She tweeted on Thursday alongside a photo of two gentlemen walking in the street, probably referring to her Jewish lawyers, “Remember …..,”
Fans pointed out the lyrics to Cardi B’s 2018 hit Bickenhead in which she said, “Lawyer is a Jew he gon’ chew up all the charges.”
The declaration comes just a week after a woman splashed the 30-year-old Money rapper with a drink during her performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas.
After the shocking moment, Cardi B responded by throwing her microphone at the concertgoer. It quickly became viral on TikTok on Sunday.
The star’s security then handled the situation and took the woman out of the event.
A second video later emerged online where the rapper actually encouraged her fans to splash water in her p—y before the incident happened.
Cardi said “That s–t feels good,” before bending over as the woman threw the drink at her.”

The mic thrown by Cardi B is now up for auction on eBay
Shortly after the controversial incident, Cardi B whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar was listed as a suspect for battery.
The woman who got hit by the mic complained to the Las Vegas Metro PD that it was not her who threw the drink at the rapper. Instead, the lady standing next to her was the one who caused the incident.
The microphone is now being auctioned on eBay for charitable causes by Scott Fisher whose company supplied audio support for the show.
Fisher wrote in the description,
“We provided more than one microphone for this particular show and verified with the in house crew which one was specifically used by Cardi for the show.”
“It was pretty easy to identify though as her mic was marked ‘main’. This is the mic that has been seen all over the country flying into the crowd after Cardi was splashed with some liquid. The mic still works as I tested it when it came back to the audio shop this afternoon (July 31).”
He added,
“If you want a piece of hip hop infamy and what has now become national and world news then please bid whatever you are willing to spend….thanks,”
As for Thursday, the mic had a high bid of more than $99,000.
