1. Miley Cyrus
Cyrus is the founder of the Happy Hippie Foundation which aims to empower homeless and LGBT youth. They also partnered with #Instapride on Instagram which was the initiative to share transgender stories.
Moreover, she also works with other forms for the rights of the LGBTQ community. Back in 2011, she got a qual sign tattoo on her ring finger in support of same-sex marriage.
2. Kerry Washington
The American actress, Kerry Washington got the Vanguard Award at the 2015 GLAAD Media Awards in March. She got the award for being a notable ally of the LGBT community.
While she was there to accept the award, she took the time to represent the LGBT community.
In the speech, she stated:
“We need more LGBT characters and more LGBT storytelling. We need more diverse LGBT representation, and by that I mean lots of different kinds of LGBT people living all different kinds of lives,”

3. Anne Hathaway
Another name on the list is the American actress Anne Hathaway. She has always openly talked about her brother who is gay and how her family has accepted his sexuality.
Hathaway also got the Human Rights Campaign Ally Award back in 2008. While accepting the award, she stated she is a big supporter of gay marriage, gay adoption, and gay rights.
Furthermore, she and her husband sold their wedding photos and donated the money to marriage equality advocacy groups.
4. Daniel Radcliffe
The Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe supports the LGBTQ community and he is always vocal about his opinion. He also got the award Celebrity Straight Ally at the 2015 British LGBT Awards.
While giving the speech about his award he thanked everyone mentioning he found the honor “slightly double-edged.”
Furthermore, he also added it is sad that there is a need for this award to display basic human decency. He also added there is nothing remarkable for a straight actor to say he supports gay rights. Radcliffe was also the receiver of the Hero Award by the Trevor Project in 2011.

Back in 2012, before the legalization of same-sex marriage, Brad Pitt helped the organization of same-sex marriage efforts.
At the time, the actor made a donation of $100,000 to the Human Rights Campaign 2012. He sent the mail to the organization saying America’s Declaration of Independence gives every person’s right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The popular American singer Lady Gaga launched the Born This Way Foundation in 2012. It is an anti-bullying non-profitable organization.

The popular British singer Harry Styles LGBTQ Advocate award in the second annual Gay Times Honors. The singer openly supports and advocates for the community in his interviews and his tours.
Styles proudly honors the pride flag while he is on the stage for his performance. Furthermore, he uses his platform to make the community feel more accepted and noticed.
