Death of the Late Harambe! How did he become the highlight of the news?
Suddenly after the death, the 17-year-old Western lowland gorilla Harambe grabbed all the attention towards him. He became an internet sensation. Why was the death of this gorilla circulated so much?
Why does his death grab so much attention? For some of the people out there who don’t know the story of the beloved gorilla, these are the questions that may be flowing through all the head.

Last May, a 3-year-old boy fell into a gorilla cage at the zoo. Harambe, a 17-year-old Western lowland gorilla grabbed and dragged him.
After the incident, the cage keepers were so frightened that they took the very controversial decision for saving the child. They thought of shooting and killing Harambe, just one day after the beloved animal’s birthday.

Following the very same month, Harambe became the subject of infinite viral social media posts. According to the Google trend, last year in the United States, he became the No. 1 meme.
In addition, five percent of Americans even voted for the famous gorilla in a vote ahead of the presidential election last November. According to the Know Your Meme associate editor Adam Downer the thing went so big that it started influencing other parts of the society.

Animal Lover paid tribute to the Late Harambe through Twitter on his death anniversary
On the day of the brave gorilla’s one-year anniversary, many people paid tribute. On Sunday, Twitter users bonded together to remember the late gorilla, sharing innumerable tributes and memes.
As per The Cincinnati Zoo, they have no plans for a public event or remembrance to regard the anniversary. Moreover, according to the Associated Press, they are instead looking forward to the reopening of the Gorilla World exhibit in June.
