7 Celerity Couples Who Met On A Reality Show And Their Relationship Is Still Lasting!
- While we know that long-lasting relationships in Hollywood are rare, there might be something even rarer: a long-lasting relationship that began on reality TV.
- High-octane personalities or producer interference, plenty of reality TV romances don’t make it very long after filming wraps up and occasionally don’t even make it past the end of the show.
So, here are some couples proving it’s definitely possible to find a significant other and a drama-free relationship on TV.
1)Irena and Locky from The Bachelor, Season 8
Srbinovska and Gilbert announced their love for one another in the heartwarming finale of The Bachelor’s eighth season.
And while their heart-warming declaration only aired at the tail end of 2020, the pair have confirmed that their love is still going strong.
Locky revealed that he is still head-over-heels for Irena, saying,
“I wake every morning and the love is stronger and stronger, I can see so far into the future [with her].”
2)Chip and Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper
The couple, who tied the knot in 2003, launched their show Fixer Upper in 2013. Chip and Joanna have four kids named Drake, 16, Ella, 14, Duke, 13, Emmie Kay, 11, and Crew, 3.
The HGTV couple may have decided to end their home improvement hit after five seasons to focus on their growing family, but their relationship appears to remain solid.
3)Amber and Rob from Survivor: All-Stars
Mariano proposed during the live finale in May 2004, which Brkich accepted. They tied the knot one year later in 2005, with CBS airing a special on their wedding aptly titled “Rob and Amber Get Married.”
They share four daughters. The “Survivor” power couple returned for season 40 in 2020, “Winners at War,” almost two decades after they had first appeared on the show.
4)Anna and Tim from The Bachelor Season 1
It feels like a million years ago that Heinrich and Robards met on the inaugural season of The Bachelor in 2013—but the genetically blessed couple are still together, and appear to be happier than ever.
After dodging marriage rumors for years, the couple wed in Italy in June 2018, and come November 2020, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Elle.
5)Snezana and Sam from The Bachelor Season 3
After fitness entrepreneur Wood won Markoski’s heart in 2015 on the third season of The Bachelor, they’ve gone on to become one of Australia’s most endearing reality TV couples.
The two wed in early February 2019, but not before welcoming a daughter together, Willow (Sam’s first child, and Snezana’s second after her daughter, Eve). They welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Charlie Lane Wood, in July 2019.
6)Jules and Cameron from Married at First Sight Season 6
Though MAFS is a matchmaking show, it’s rather ironic that its track record for successful pairings is zero. This is what makes Robinson and Merchant such a breath of fresh air on the über-dramatic show—they’re still together post-season six and got married on May 18, 2020 (for real this time). The couple even welcomed their first child together in October 2020.
7)Jessie and Eric from E!’s Eric & Jessie: Game On in 2013
Fans followed Eric and Jessie’s journey to the altar on E!’s Eric & Jessie: Game On in 2013. The series returned for a second season the following year, but the couple took a break from filming after their daughter Vivianne was born during the season 2 finale.
The country singer and the NFL star welcomed son Eric Jr. in 2015 and returned to the small screen for season 3 in 2017.
While their future on reality TV is up in the air, their relationship remains solid and Jessie welcomed baby No. 3, Forrest, in March 2018.
