Kristen’s cryptic quote after Chance’s dance
Some extended their support to the controversial musician. One fan tweeted,
“This is definitely not inappropriate unless he and his wife had a conversation & she didn’t want him to attend. If you attend then you may end up dancing & having fun. That’s the point of the event,”
Meanwhile, Corley, 29, shared a cryptic quote after the incident, an excerpt from Maya Angelou’s essay Home. It talks about how people never mature.
Angelou writes,
“Most people don’t grow up. It’s too damn difficult. What happens is most people get older. That’s the truth of it,”
“They honor their credit cards, they find parking spaces, they have the nerve to have children, but they don’t grow up. Not really. They get older.”
The excerpt concluded,
”And you find out what it costs us to love and to lose, to dare and to fail. And maybe even more, to succeed.”
The mother of two captioned the post, “I hope one day, we all choose to grow up.”
Chance and Kristen married in 2018 followed by a lavish ceremony in 2019.
The couple shares two daughters, Kensli, 7, and Marli, 3.
