And now the two are in a custody battle over their twin daughters Finley and Harper.

Prior to Marrying Michael, Lisa was in a relationship with rocker Danny Keough and they married in 1988. She has two kids with him, Danielle Riley Keough and Benjamin. They separated in 1994 and the same year, Lisa dated and married the great Michael Jackson. They have no children together but she divorced him in 1996.

Lisa then started a relationship with Nicolas Cage and they walked down the aisle together in 2002. But it lasted only for 108 days and they split. The Court finalized the divorce in 2004.

More about the custody battle and current scenario

The legal team of Lisa is from Brot Gross Fishbein. It filed papers in the court seeking the court’s permission to fly the two daughters Harper, 11 and Finley,  11 out to Memphis,  Tennessee to attend the birthday celebrations of their grandfather.

But the legal team was against this travel. There is a standing order currently in the custody battle that neither of the parties can take the kids out of the state without obtaining either the other parent’s consent or the court’s approval.

Michael has refused to allow the kids to go out for the birthday celebrations. Also now the court also has turned down Lisa’s request for it. The court said that it was not an emergency to travel. It seems that the children would not be able to make it for the great day.

Of course, Lisa is upset and disappointed since she feels that the kids have the right to experience the birthday celebrations of their late grandfather Elvis Presley.
