American actress, Cindyana Santangelo has died. It is suspected that the recent cosmetic shots she received at her home could have led to her death. She was only 58 years old at the time of her death.

Cindyana Santangelo dies at 58

Radaronline has reported on the sad and premature death of American actress, Cindyana Santangelo. Also known as Latin Marilyn Monroe, Cindyana was only 58 years of age when she died.

It is stated that the gorgeous actress had received cosmetic shots at home a few days back. Did this cosmetic procedure cause her death? But this is not yet clear. However, the reason for her death would be determined after an autopsy on her body.

On 31st March 2025 afternoon, there was an emergency call received on 911 from Cindyana’s home in Malibu. After the first responders arrived, they rushed Cindyana to a local hospital. But, doctors there pronounced her dead on arrival. There is no suspicion of foul play.

Cindyana Santangelo’s life and last social media posts

Cindyana was born in 1967 in Manhattan as Cindy Lehrer. But she grew up in Los Angeles. Later, Cindyana began her career as a dancer. And, she was part of several musical videos of late 1980s and early 1990s.

She made a Spanish language recital for Jane’s Addiction video. It was the frontman of the band, Perry Farewell who gave Cindyana the nickname of Latin Marilyn Monroe.

Moreover, the actress also acted in several series and films including in Married With Children, ER, and CSI: Miami. Her final post on Instagram was on 8th March 2025. It was captionless and had a beautiful picture of the actress. There were a lot of complimentary comments below this post. Additionally, she had recently celebrated her birthday too.

Since 2001, she is married to Frank Santangelo and has two children with him: two boys. Cindyana started Mermaids Cove Malibu, which is a luxurious sober living home for women in Malibu. The party girl had turned sober and wanted to help others with it.

Tributes for the actress

Friends of Cindyana expressed their sadness and shock on her death. Mexican celebrity Cynthia Banuelos mourned Cindyana’s death on her Instagram writing:

“My heart aches as I write this. I’m still in shock and disbelief. How can you be gone??? … Malibu was your paradise, where your soul danced with the tides and your laughter blended with the sound of the waves,”

The post added:

“You had a heart as vast as the ocean, a spirit as free as the wind, and a love that ran deeper than the blue depths you adored. Frank and the Boys (Dante & Lucci), were your reason for living.”
“Swim free, my beautiful mermaid. Until we meet again,”

American actress, Kimberly Russell, 60 commented below Cynthia’s post:

“my beautiful Cindyana …. an angel in life …. this is shocking rest in peace …”

While German actress, Xenia Seeberg, 57 wrote:

“No no no! This is impossible,”
“We just spoke a few days ago and planned together for Thailand and Istanbul and how we would see each other again much more often…! I am in complete shock. What happened to my beautiful sister??? Much too early to rest in peace.”

Samantha Bennington, ex-wife of the late American singer, Chester Bennington commented:

“I am devastated of this horrific news,”
“We were just about to celebrate her for her birthday!!!! This is a huge loss, not only for us as her family and friends, but for the entire community!!!! You will forever be in our hearts and we’re here for you all Frank and the kids. We are here for you.”

She also posted on her Instagram handle:

“you wrapped your arms around me and accepted me and loved on me as a friend the very first moment you met me I’ll never forget you for welcoming me into your tribe … heartbroken.”
