Country Singer Kylie Railie Harris sadly dies in a car crash!
The 30-year-old country singer Kylie Railie Harris sadly died in a car crash on September 4th along State Road 522 in the northern part of the state Taos, New Mexico. The singer in New Mexico for “Michael Hearne’s Big Barn Dance Music Festival” which she was eagerly waiting for. According to her website, she was due to perform next in Turkey, Texas.
The singer was apparently very familiar with the area. She was reported talking about times she came to the exact area with her dad in videos she was filming prior to her accident. She said,
“I spent the last 20 years of my life coming to Taos with my dad, my sisters, my grandparents lived here, my uncle still lives here, Literally everybody that was here has passed away, except for my uncle, including my dad.”
The singer was a single mother of a 6-year-old daughter. She was known for being very bright and cheerful with a bright career before her. It is a shame that such a tragedy happened. We give all her friends and family warm condolence and wish her spirit rests in peace.
Kylie was one of the two who died in the car crash!
According to sources, there was a three-car collision. The accident happened on Wednesday night. The Taos County Sheriff’s office said that alcohol is suspected as a factor in the car collision. A 16-year-old girl was also killed in the accident while the other driver escaped injuries and is unidentified. No details are released about the accident.

Kylie’s passion-filled career!
Kylie was a Texas-based singer-songwriter who was very passionate about her music. She started performing at local music festivals from her teenage years. Harris had released a self-titled EP earlier this year. She was very passionate about the album as it was very personal to her. She said,
“My twenties weren’t a walk in the park, a lot of that admittedly self-inflicted, but I grew a lot. This project feels like the close of a real painful chapter and a welcome to whatever is next.”
Harris also wrote a song in the EP for her daughter titled, “Twenty Years From Now”. She talks about how she wishes her daughter to understand the choices she makes. Harris exclusively talked about the song and how she feels as a mother. She said,
“Getting to the age your parents were when you were a child brings a whole lot of perspective. Parents are people. People make mistakes and being a parent is hard. I’m not always going to make the right choices, but I hope that when my daughter gets older, she’ll see that they were all made with love and the best of intentions”

In 2013, toured with fellow Troubadour, TX star Zane Williams throughout the state. Harris died in a car accident in Tao, New Mexico.
