The rugby player Gavin Henson, 37 got married to his long-term girlfriend and fiancée, Katie Wilson Mould in a countryside village church. Gavin’s daughter Ruby from a previous relationship was the flower girl.

It was a joyous occasion for the couple, Gavin Henson and his fiancée Katie Wilson Mould. The romantic pair married in the village church of St. Michael’s and All Angels in Gloucestershire.

Katie looked stunning in her white silk off the shoulder gown. She comes from an affluent family and is the daughter of late property tycoon Raymond Mould. Raymond was also the owner of a racehorse. Katie’s hair was in loose chignon and she also wore a floor-length veil. In her hands, she carried a simple bouquet made of white flowers.

Gavin looked dapper in a navy-colored three-piece suit. He also wore a pink tie which was matching with the dress colour of the bridesmaids.

Katie came to the church in a classic Rolls Royce which as white in color. She had decided to have as her flower-girl Gavin’s daughter Ruby, 12 from his previous relationship with Charlotte Church.

Since her father is no more, their good family friend, Nigel Twiston-Davis walked her down the aisle. Nigel is also a local horse trainer. Katie’s father Harold Raymond Mould was buried four years back in the same village church.

Hence the church has a great significance in the life of Katie. Though happy, Katie did not wear a smile on her face. She was probably missing her father. But Gavin had a cheeky grin on his face.

The wedding ceremony lasted for 30 minutes. There were hymns sung by the 40 strong Cardiff Arms Park Male Choir. After the ceremony was over, the newly-married couple posed for pictures outside the church.

They then proceeded for the reception party. They were holding hands as they left the church for the reception. The reception party was at Katie’s mother’s place nearby.

Gavin and Katie have known each other since many years. They have also been dating for many years now by had managed to keep their affair a secret until 2016.

Last year, the couple went on a trip to South Africa. It was on this romantic vacation that Gavin went down on one knee and asked for permission to marry Katie.

It is the couple’s first marriage. There is nothing known about Katie’s previous relationships. But the rugby player was dating Charlotte Church earlier. He was never marred to her. But he has two children with Charlotte. Ruby was born in 2007 while Dexter was born two years later in 2009.
