The star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle Staub is in love again! Just days after she has finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Marty Caffrey, Danielle has found a new romance.

On 25 February 2019, Danielle shared a picture on social media of her kissing a man on the beach in St. Bart’s. Her fans were wondering who the lucky guy was.

A source revealed the identity of the man she is dating exclusively to US Weekly. Danielle, 56 is in a relationship with businessman Oliver Maier, the source said.

The source said:

“They are dating and very much in love,”

The reality TV star was married to Marty Caffrey, 66. But the marriage that happened in the Bahamas in May 2018 was a short-lived one.

After less than a year of walking down the aisle together, Danielle and Marty called it quits. Their Judge finalized their divorce on 21 February 2019, US Weekly reported.

Danielle and Marty’s relationship and divorce were bitter ones. They had filed multiple restraining orders against each other. Additionally, even during the divorce process, they did not see eye-to-eye with each other.

A court clerk said:

“They barely looked at each other and did not seem happy in court.”

Danielle had maintained that their relationship had been one of emotional and verbal abuse. She told US Weekly last December:

“There isn’t one woman that he’s had a conversation with that could say that he’s not an abusive man, It’s erratic behavior and it’s constant. I mean, constant. There’s not letting off that gas.”

Marty, however, denied all these allegations levied on him. After the divorce, her rep told US Weekly:

“Danielle is extremely relieved this toxic situation is coming to a close and looks forward to getting her life back.”

Marty Caffrey’s side of the story

Marty denied that they harbored any ill feelings for each other. He told US Weekly that he has a cordial relationship with his ex-wife Danielle. He added that they are still living in the same house.

After the reporter mentioned Danielle’s new boyfriend, Marty said:

“I don’t know him. Danielle still lives here. They couldn’t be dating any more than a week or two, but that doesn’t matter to me.”

Marty expressed his happiness in her new relationship. He said:

“I hope he’s the one to write the check and buy my house and contents and pay her outstanding debt to me. It’ll save me the trouble of selling in the market. In fact, I’ll shake his hand and thank him. If she’s happy, I’m happy for her. We’ve both been dating.”

He seems to heave a sigh of relief after the divorce.
