Seeing those pics, Thalia had stated that it was painful for her to see them. She also labeled her split as bittersweet.
Subsequently, in 2017, Thalia started dating Northern Irish dancer and choreographer, Ryan McShane. The two had met on the Irish version of the show Dancing with the stars in which she was contesting. However, Ryan and Thalia had not danced together.
Over the course of six years of relationship, the couple adopted two dogs together. But they split in the early months of 2023. And she migrated to New York City with a new modeling agency for one year.

“Dating in Dublin is hard”, says Thalia
Thalia feels that it is tough to find a match and date someone in Dublin. She believes that men in Ireland are less assertive. She told Sunday Times:
“Dating in Dublin is definitely a different experience to dating in London or New York. It’s a much smaller pool and everyone knows each other. You almost have to check that you’re not related to someone,”

Thalia continued:
“In terms of meeting people, it’s not the easiest in this country. [Dating] is harder. The infrastructure is not there. There are some great bars but we don’t have nightclubs any more.”
According to her:
“Irish men can be quite shy and intimidated by women, which is not a bad trait. It’s just different.”
She has tried dating apps in between but is not happy with the results. She is open to men of any type. But she states:
“The only thing I’d need in a partner is for them to make my life better. They’d have to be a positive addition. I’m not dealing with anything that takes away from my life any more.”
But her main attention now is on her career and she is happy with life overall.
