Dave Grohl’s infidelity
Dave Grohl recently faced backlash after announcing he fathered a child outside his marriage to Jordyn Blum, which shocked many fans and strained their relationship.
Three months before his birthday, he disclosed that he welcomed a baby daughter and expressed his intention to be a supportive parent to her.
The Foo Fighters frontman acknowledged the impact of this revelation on his family, stating,
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,”
However, Grohl did not disclose further details about the mother of his new child or the circumstances surrounding the affair.
Dave and Jordyn have been married for 21 years and shared three daughters, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Following the revelation of Grohl’s infidelity, a source revealed that Blum is struggling with trust issues and is focusing on her own life and their children.
The insider said in December 2024,
“It was just such a shock for Jordyn. Her first instinct was that she wanted a divorce. The betrayal felt too heavy, But as weeks passed, she got some space to think and it just felt very sad to her if the family would split up.”
Although their marriage is “still not in great shape,” the source added at the time, “they are trying to move forward.”
