David Bromstad and his new dream home: Know why he chose Orlando for it!
David Bromstad is an American designer who had won the first season of the show Design Star on HGTV in 2006. He has assisted many people in finding their dream homes. He has now helped himself in procurement of a dream home.
David Bromstad and his dream home
To have a dream home is the dream of all humans on this planet. And David Bromstad, through his TV show, The Lottery Dream Home, used to document his efforts to find a dream home for lottery winners in the USA.
But now, David will make an episode of the show on how he procures a dream home for himself. This new special episode will be on him and how he searches and lands his dream home. The focus will be the host of the show, David now. And the episode would get the title of “My Lottery Dream Home: David’s Dream Home”.
What HGTV says?
The producers of this HGTV show are indeed happy for David and stated that David was until now only helping others in their house hunt. But in the process, he had put his own home searching in the background. He could not focus on it and did not get time to do so. But now, due to this special episode, he will do so for himself. About the location for his dream home, David said:
“I had decided that I was going to live [in Orlando] but I was going to do it correctly. I wasn’t going to rush into anything. I wasn’t going to do anything emotional — I think it was very logical. I was like, ‘Be responsible.'”
Why Orlando? It is because David used to work as an illustrator for Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It was when Disney was doing hand-drawn art. He stated:
“That’s where I learned the basis of perfection with Disney. And that’s where my true artistic training started,”
David praised Orlando calling it a wonderful and fun city. He likes the theme parks and lakes and its landscape. But there is more to it, according to him. David said:
“Get away from the theme parks and come downtown because that’s where the fun is. Tons of bars, like lots of places to hang out and just, it’s a very active city. Like people are always out. It’s really fun.”
David’s vision for his dream home
David wanted to have a spacious pad for himself. It should have adequate space to accommodate his parents when they visit him. It should be like a holiday home for his family members and friends. Talking about the need to have a huge entertaining area in the house, David said:
“We love to watch TV. That’s how we bond. That’s how we always have. It’s one of our moments,”
David is 50 years old now and his parents are Diane Marlys Bromstad and Richard Harold David Bromstad. He was the youngest child of his parents. His siblings are Dean Richard Bromstad, Dynelle Renee Bromstad, and Dyonne Rachael Bromstad.
David is openly gay. But he loves his family immensely. His tattoos feature this love and he has designs that show how much he loves his family, gay pride, color, and Disney.
