The 26-year-old Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver took to Instagram to share the happy news that he is now engaged.

The newly engaged couple dated for more than a year of dating.

Smith proposed to his girlfriend, Mya, on New Year’s Eve in a romantic rooftop setting at the W Hotel in Philadelphia’s Center City.

In the photos, the couple is on the roof of a tall building, surrounded by a beautiful flower arch made of roses and sunflowers, glowing with candlelight.

At the same time, a live violinist plays for them, even though it is lightly raining.

The couple wore matching black outfits during a romantic rooftop proposal, and both appeared joyful as Smith placed the ring on Danielle’s finger.

The Eagles star chose a stunning 3.05-carat Ashley Engagement Ring from Forever Diamonds in New York.

The ring featured 2.32 carats of lab-grown diamonds and a GLA-certified center stone graded D in color and VS1 in clarity.

Danielle later posted a close-up video of her ring on her Instagram story, humorously noting, “ending the year a fiance,” jokingly adding, ‘yall take a shot for me.”
