Elsa Pataky is a Spanish actress, supermodel, and film producer. Elsa is best known for her role as Elena Neves in ‘The Fast and The Furious franchise.

She has appeared in other films such as Snake on a Plane, Giallo, Give ‘Em Hell, and Malone.

Elsa also starred in the Spanish movie Di Di Hollywood in 2010.

Elsa Pataky was born Elsa Lafuente Medianu on 18th July 1976 in Madrid, Spain. Her parents are her father, José Francisco Lafuente, a Spanish biochemist, and her mother, Cristina Pataky Median,  a publicist of Romanian and Hungarian ancestry.

Elsa, therefore, has a mixed ethnicity -Spanish, Hungarian, and Romanian. She adopted the name ‘Elsa Pataky’ from her maternal grandmother, Rosa Pataky.

She has a younger half-brother: Cristian Prieto Medianu, a cinematographic director.

She attended a private Catholic University, the Universidad CEU de San Pablo in Madrid, Spain. She studied journalism and took acting classes.
