“On or around June 2022, PLAINTIFF was traveling on tour with STALLION in Ibiza, Spain. After a night out, PLAINTIFF, STALLION, and three other women were riding in a SUV together. Suddenly, STALLION and one of the other women start having sex right beside Plaintiff. PLAINTIFF could not get out of the car as it was both moving and he was in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country,”
Moreover, revealing the emotional status of Emilio at that time, his lawyer writes:
“The plaintiff was embarrassed, mortified and offended throughout the whole ordeal.”
Megan threatened Emilio to not reveal anything to anyone
The court papers filed by Emilio states that on the next day, Megan enquired whether he was in the SUV car the night before. When Emilio answered in the affirmative, Megan threatened him:
“Don’t ever discuss what you saw.”
Megan did not stop at this. She went on to fat shame Emilio and scolded him. Emilio states that she used terms such as “fat b—-,” “spit your food out,” and “you don’t need to be eating” for him.
Megan’s employee, Emilio was not happy with his job with Megan and he confided about it in a makeup artist. He added that he might quit the job because the pay was not appropriate. The makeup artist spilled the beans to Megan. Megan, on learning about it, face-timed Emilio in a drunken state. The court documents mention:
“Later that night – STALLION ‘drunkenly FaceTimed the PLAINTIFF and, after PLAINTIFF expressed his belief he was being underpaid for the amount of hours actually asked of him, they reached an ‘understanding,’ with STALLION affirming, ‘We’re good.’”
He continued to join them on tours. But one year later, in June 2023, Roc Nation told Emilio that they would no longer need his services.
Further, the ex-employee of Megan states that though he worked as her personal cameraman, he was put in the category of an independent contractor so that he is not eligible for employee protections under the California law. He has demanded an undisclosed amount as compensation from Megan.
Megan’s side of the story
Ron Zambrano is Emilio’s lawyer on this case. He is Employment Litigation Chair at West Coast Employment Lawyers and its partner. Ron said:
“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat shaming conduct,”
“Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behavior to employees is definitely illegal.”
Alex Spiro, Megan’s lawyer said:
“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
