Eminem’s response to Billie Eilish saying that she is scared of the rapper!
The famous American rapper, Eminem knows who’s said what about him. And he usually prefers to answer them via his songs. He did the same as a response to singer Billie Eilish who had said two years back that she is damn scared of Eminem. Know the complete details here.
Billie Eilish and her fear of rapper Eminem
American singer and songwriter, Billie Eilish, 22 has gained a name for herself in the music world of the West with her intense music videos. Her videos are quite hair-raising and scary. And hence, it was a shock to know that Billie grew up with a great fear for rapper, Eminem. She had stated in an interview with Noisey two years back about it. Billie had said:
“I was scared of Eminem. My whole life. Always. I, dude, terrified. That dude freaked the f**k out of me. Oh my God.”
Response of fans to Billie’s fear
Both Billie and Eminem have their huge fan following. And on learning about Billie’s fear of the rapper, Eminem when she was young, their fans took to social media to respond to those fears. Most of the fans found her fear and its mention in the interview quite hilarious. Some felt that Billie and her videos are more scary than that of Eminem.
If one remembers, in her music video ‘You Should See Me In A Crown’, a spider is shown coming out of her mouth. While in her video ‘When The Party’s Over’, a black-colored liquid is seen oozing out of her eyes. These scenes frighten a person more than videos showing Eminem.
One YouTube user remarked:
“All her music videos are creepy as hell and Eminem’s the one giving her nightmares ??!!!”
Another social media user clarified:
“She’s scarier than he is – he’s just brutally honest.. there’s a difference,”
And a third social media user observed:
“Man Eminem hears and knows everything anyone has ever said about him, them puts them in his songs,”
And another fan wrote:
“And then Eminem proceeded to traumatize her further.”
What was Eminem’s response to Billie Eilish’s scare?
Eminem, as usual, did not directly respond to Billie’s scare about him. He preferred to answer her through his raps. The response was in the verse of his music video ‘Alfred’s Theme‘. The lyrics read:
“Homicidal visions when I’m spitting like this / But really I’m just fulfilling my wish of killing rhymes which is really childish / And silly, but I’m really like this, I’m giving nightmares to Billie Eilish.”
It is not certain whether this response helped Billie lessen her fear of the rapper or whether it increased her fear of him. Time will tell.
However, Billie did mention in a red carpet interview that she is attracted to women. She had told in Variety’s Power of Women November issue:
“I never felt like I could relate to girls very well. I love them so much. I love them as people. I’m attracted to them as people. I’m attracted to them for real.”
When she came for Variety’s Hitmakers awards later on, people posed questions about her sexuality. They wanted to know whether she had come out in her earlier interview. And Billie replied:
“No I didn’t,”
“But I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious?’… I didn’t realize people didn’t know.”
She did not believe in coming out and said:
“I’m just like, ‘Why can’t we just exist?’ I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I just didn’t talk about it. Whoops.”
But she was happy that people who did not know about it know it now.
