American beauty, Heather Locklear, 59 got engaged to her boyfriend Chris Heisser. But the engagement happened two months back in April 2020. Now a source has revealed the news to TODAY magazine.

The insider said:

“They are really happy together,” 

“Her family, her parents, her siblings, and her daughter are all supporting her and excited for her.”

This was her year of sobriety and hence the couple decided to celebrate the occasion by also having an engagement, the source told TODAY.

Further, the source stated that Heather feels to be in a good space now as regards her life. She is also feeling strong and clear-headed.

The friend also gave an outline of what activities Heather has been doing during the coronavirus pandemic. Reportedly, Heather has been cooking for the family.

She also was taking care of her aged parents and delivering food to their homes. Besides these, Heather had been going for walks and also doing some gardening work.

A close friend told TODAY:

“It’s really amazing to see how she managed to turn things around,”

The friend is also extremely happy for Heather especially since she managed to come out of her drug addiction. It was in September 2019 that Heather got discharged from a rehabilitation facility.

A Judge had asked her to be in a residential mental facility for 30 days. This was after she had pleaded no contest in August 2019 regarding two arrests in 2018.

The police arrested her for fighting with the deputies of the Sheriff and also with the first responders who had gone for a well-being visit to her southern California home.

Heather and her relationships

Chris Heisser is Heather’s high school sweetheart. They reconnected 40 years later. And for the last few years, their relationship has been of the on-off type. And now comes the engagement news!!!

Heather was also in a relationship with Richie Sambora, a longtime guitarist, and co-songwriter for the band Bon Jovi. The couple wed on 17 December 1994 in Paris and has a daughter named Ava together. In 2006, they divorced.

Ava is 22 years old now and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in the spring of 2020. She has obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in women’s and gender studies. The Instagram of Heather has photos of Ava celebrating her graduation.

Earlier, Heather was the wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee from 10 May 1986 to 1993. In April 2007 after her divorce from Richie, she started a relationship with actor Jack Wagner. In August 2011, they announced their engagement but called it off in November 2007.
