English football player, Rachel Daly, 32 and her girlfriend, Sarah Mayling, 27 had an engagement recently. Rachel made the great announcement on her Instagram on 29 November 2024. Sarah had proposed to Rachel and the caption of Rachel’s post read:

“It’s giving forever. Easiest YES!”

The post photo was of both of them with heads touching and looking and smiling at the camera. Rachel had rested her right hand on the chest of Sarah showing off her new engagement ring. The engagement ring was a simple thin band with a small round-cut diamond in the center. The value of the ring or its brand is not known yet.

No sooner had Rachel uploaded the photo and post, her teammates and other football players and fans started commenting on the post. All were happy for the couple. English football player, Millie Bright OBE wrote:

Rachel is a versatile player and has played both at national and international level. She started football at a very young age. She was with St. John’s University Red Storm during her college days.

Later, she joined the Leeds United LFC and also played for W-league franchises of Los Angeles Strikers and Los Angeles Blues.

After graduation, she was drafted by NWSL in 2016. Rachel played for Houston Dash. On 9 August 2022, she signed a 3-year contract to play for Aston Villa. It is here that Rachel met her now-fiancee, Sarah Mayling.

Sarah has been playing for Aston Villa since 2 July 2021. She began dating Rachel in 2022 and after two years comes the engagement announcement. There is nothing revealed about their marriage plans yet.

Prior to starting a relationship with Sarah, Rachel has dated two other women in her life. While playing for Houston Dash, Rachel was romantically linked with her teammate, Kristie Mewis, 33.
