Barron Trump, the youngest child of Donald Trump is gradually coming to media attention. He is taking on some bigger roles in life. But he prefers to keep his personal life as private as possible. Barron’s elder brother, Eric Trump has some advice for the little boy. Know what Eric said in a recent interview with the Daily Mail.
Eric Trump and his advice for Barron Trump
Barron Trump is the youngest child of Donald Trump. He turned 18 on 20 March 2024 and is currently a freshman student of New York University. His father, Donald is a highly influential and famous celebrity who is again in the Presidential fray. All the limelight is on Donald and his family. This includes the little Barron who is gradually picking up a lot of media attention.
Eric Trump, Barron’s elder step brother has some piece of advice for Barron. He wants him to be careful of all the media attention he would receive due to his family contacts and also because he is the most eligible bachelor around. Eric told Daily Mail:
“My advice to Barron is you are the most watched person, probably the most watched bachelor in the world right now. I’m really lucky…when I was a bachelor we had a lot of attention but not quite the attention that he’ll have – especially if in 12 days we win. Just be careful, just be careful. There are a lot of eyes on you.”
Barron woos young audience for his father’s campaign
Though not actively involved in his father’s campaign for the Presidential post, Barron is taking on some bigger roles in the digital world for it. He has acted as the unofficial podcast adviser for his father in order to woo the Gen Z and ask them to vote for Donald. On this, Eric revealed:
“He’s done a great job pushing some of the youth podcasts – and I’ve pushed the hell out of podcasts because I think traditional media is dying around the world.”
Barron’s strategy seems to be working. Donald has been able to reach wider audience due to his appearances on podcasts on the advice of his youngest son.
Barron Trump’s personality and liking for privacy
It is said that Barron is otherwise a grounded and private person. Eric had told The Independent:
“He’s a great kid. He’s a smart kid. He conducts himself very, very well. He’s been brought up well and he’s gonna have a great future ahead of him.”
Jason Miller who is the senior adviser for Donald Trump’s various campaigns also had praised Barron and his suggestions of choice of podcasts for his father to give an interview on. Jason feels that this has helped Donald resonate with the masses. Moreover, he calls Barron’s choices as ‘absolute ratings gold’.
Peter Castor who is a Professor of History at Washington University says this about Barron:
“Barron was really off the radar in a way that the Obama, Bush, and Clinton girls weren’t…They were much more a part of the president’s story than Barron was…We got zilch about Barron.”
Eric also admitted that the political and media pressures has not been able to break the family:
“It is rather remarkable that the five of us, that the five kids, we are so close and we go out there and fight. And they haven’t been able to divide us – and they’ve tried. They’ve tried in every way that you can possibly imagine to make it so miserable, so uncomfortable. They haven’t been able to do so.”
