Erica Dixon: Leaving the reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”!! Her Messy fight with Ex-Fiance Lil Scrappy and the rumors of Dixon!!
- Erica Dixon is a popular reality television star, well-known for her reality show “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” on VH1.
- The show is about the lives of several women connected to hip-hop music.
Relation Status of Erica
Erica is currently a single lady although there has been a rumor about her being in a relationship. In the past, she has been active in a relationship and was happy as well but now she just wants to focus on her career and her child.
She has never been married so the context of divorce does not play any role in Dixon’s life. But she was once engaged in 2012 but we all know that it didn’t turn out the way she wanted.
Previously, Erica was engaged to Lil Scrappy and welcomed the child. While being in a relationship they even had a daughter called Emani Richardson.
She gave birth to Emani on July 29, 2005, but later due to personal reasons they separated. Since then Dixon has dated several hot guys but we can say it didn’t turn out well!
After the breakup, Dixon moved on with O’ Shea Russel whom she had met at the parties whereas, Lil’ Scrappy moved on with the famous musician Diamond.
But unfortunately, the relationship between Dixon and O’Shea didn’t work as well. She got fed up with the fact that her boyfriend O’ Shea had financial problems.
So, in June 2014 she broke up with him. Again, she moved on to the NFL Baller Duke Willams. It was also reported that Duke was still in a relationship with his long-time model girlfriend Nazia when he was dating Dixon.
She claimed that she wants her daughter Emani to be with her and there are rumors that Erica wants to be together with Scrappy again.
Erica relationship with Lil Scrappy
Erica and Darryl Richardson (known as Lil Scrappy) first met each other in Atlanta, while she was pursuing her high school education. They were in an on-again-off-again relationship for about 12 years.
Interestingly, they even got engaged, and co-parent their baby together. They appear in a reality show as a couple, but they never got married. But their relationship could not go on and they broke up.
After they officially confirmed their split, again they were seen together in Miami. It also didn’t help that after rumors of the pair getting back together surfaced, Scrappy’s longtime girlfriend, Bambi, confirmed that she and Scrappy are no longer dating.
“We’re def not together. The flowers were a nice attempt but it didn’t work. I wish them the best!”
The big fight between Erica and Lil Scrappy
Erica recently visited Bossip for an interview on Don’t Be Scared. In her interview, Erica dished that Scrappy still owes her child support and she’s not done fighting for it either.
There have been reports in the past that Erica has a restraining order against Scrappy. Erica confirmed that was true during the podcast.
When asked about the restraining order and the ongoing drama with Scrappy on social media regarding the legal requirement for the Atlanta rapper turned reality star to stay away from his ex, she said,
“I wouldn’t be able to get the restraining order if I didn’t have proof [that he acts up]. The restraining order has nothing to do with my child, it only affects me.”
Scrappy has complained in the past about Erica’s restraining order and how it keeps him from seeing his child.
Erica wasn’t holding back in the DBS interview. When asked about why Scrappy doesn’t just pay the child support, Erica talked about why she thinks he’s holding back.
“It was never about the money,”
Erica claimed,
“At one point I was like ‘get her clothes’ and he said, ‘no I’m not gonna get her clothes to be at your house. This is so pretty! We have to do this together and I tried to get him to understand.”
Lil Scrappy about his child
From the last season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, it seemed as if there was no hope for any reconciliation between Lil Scrappy and Erica Dixon until this. Scrappy decided that it was time to put their petty differences aside for the sake of their daughter, Emani and he took to Instagram to call a truce with Miss Erica.
“I just want to say I love my daughter in every way and I’m so proud to be a father of somebody special that God made and no I’m not back with her mom in a relationship but we had a convo and we want to b the best parents for our daughter because all the stuff that we been going thru has weighed down and had my daughter stressed out so even tho I Dnt have to give no explanation cause I Dnt owe anybody but my daughter I just wanted to make it clear that we are trying to b good parents and for people to want us to beef or throw shade on each other for people’s entertainment ain’t happening and so all y’all bloggers and haters I laugh because u thought u had something lol I Dnt hate y’all tho get ya money stay blessed”
The Rumor of Erica and Lil Scrappy getting Back
According to Momma Dee, mother of Scrappy, the pair have been doing a whole lot more than just co-parenting Emani.
Erica has made been very vocal about not wanting to start up another romantic relationship with Lil Scrappy after their traumatic breakup over a year ago, but according to Momma Dee, the dress designer is still very much in a romance with Scrappy behind Bambi’s back.
The self-proclaimed “Queen” of Scrappy’s kingdom recently blasted her son’s former fiance while discussing the LHHATL season three reunion, claiming that the pair have still been hooking up even though Scrappy has confessed his love for Bambi, Bossip reported.
“Erica, I respect her as my granddaughter’s mother. I tried to apologize to her [on Thursday’s night’s episode] for any wrong that I’ve done to her,”
Momma Dee said.
“Do you know that b***h came for me at the reunion? She came for me, baby. I had to lay that b***h to rest and I did. Scrappy left the set two hours early on the second day. And I guess she felt that I was the weaker link and because Scrappy wasn’t there, she could come for me. No, boo Scrappy is the weakest link because if he wasn’t he wouldn’t still be f***ing you behind Bambi’s back,”
she continued.
During an interview, Erica revealed that although she and her ex-fiance have been getting along tremendously while co-parenting their daughter that’s about all fans will see the former lovebirds.
“Scrappy and I are just done. We’re trying to be friends,”
the reality star said.
“I’m at a point in my life where I don’t hate him. I have forgiven him and I want to get to a place where we are cool and we’re able to be friends. So far, so good.”
However, Momma Dee could just be stirring up the pot. It’s no secret that she isn’t very fond of Scrappy’s blossoming relationship with Bambi, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the pair were still fooling around.

Leaving the Show
Erica Dixon won’t be back when Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta debuts in just a couple more months. Even though Scrappy is listed as one of the veterans returning to the VH1 hit reality show, he’ll have to rely on his own drama with his current women rather than relying on the child support and custody issues we saw him battle out with Erica on Season 4 of LHHATL.
Erica doesn’t sound sad about leaving the reality show behind, instead, Erica told Wetpaint that she’s feeling at peace about her decision not to film the show.
When asked if she would be returning for the next season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Erica’s answer might upset some of her biggest fans. “No,” Dixon told Wetpaint,
“You won’t see me on this season of Love & Hip Hop.”
