Mena has been in several reality shows but currently, she is only in one. Erica Mena left Love & Hip Hop New York a few seasons ago. She recently sat down on TMZ’s Rock Rants and Erica had a lot to say.
In a new interview, Erica opened up about her time on reality TV and seemingly wanted to take credit for every ridiculous fight shown on VH1.
“I think I set the tone for the whole, I don’t like to admit this, the whole throwing the glass thing,”
She was referring to her 2011 altercation with Kimbella Vanderhee.

“The fighting didn’t start until I walked into the building, then everybody wanted to fight, even down to the Basketball Wives, I set the tone of throwing s–t, next thing you know b—hes are getting slapped, jumping over tables. I was like, ’Damnnnn.’ There’s a little bit of Erica in everybody.”
Erica claims that despite her still being caught up in Love & Hip Hop and reality TV, she has grown up.
“I don’t regret it, I just wish that I had done things differently, I would probably do it better.”
Now, there may be a few people scratching their heads at this,
“There’s a little bit of Erica in everybody.”
So, here’s the thing. Basketball Wives premiered on VH1 in Spring 2010. Erica Mena did not star in the first episode of Love & Hip Hop…until season two…episode six…in December 2011
Basketball Wives had debuted a full year before Erica’s appearance on Love & Hip Hop and in a pretty shady article, VH1 has slammed Erica’s claims, denying that she was the first one to throw a glass.
Outside of VH1, the girls of Bad Girls Club have been brawling for years and even The Real Housewives have gotten into a few physical altercations on it.
It’s not something to be proud of, but it looks like Erica is tooting her own horn a little too much in this most recent dish session.
