All is not well in the married life of American radio host, Alex Jones, 51 and his second wife, Erika Wulff Jones, 46. Erika has approached the court for a temporary restraining order against Alex.

The couple, Erika Wulff Jones, 46 and Infowars founder, Alex Jones, 51 is heading for a divorce. And now, there is a new addition to the divorce battle.

The news is that Erika has approached the court for a temporary emergency restraining order against Alex on 12th March 2025.

It is also learnt that the divorce documents were submitted at a court in Texas from where Alex hails. Moreover, this submission happened on 9th September last year. Recently, there was a filing of motion in court to seal all the records in the divorce case.

Neither Alex nor Erika have made any statements on this personal matter yet.

The relationship timeline of the couple

The couple wed in 2017. They have one child, a son together. But the couple had several marital issues. In 2019, Alex had asked his security guard to keep a watch on Erika and inform him on whether she is cheating on him.

Moreover, on Christmas day of 2021, Erika was arrested for domestic violence. It seems that she had hit Alex on his times nearly twenty times with her closed fists as well as open hands. She also tried to use a polished club to hit him with.

The victim Alex had called 911 for help. Erika thought that Alex was infidel to her. Police stated that Erika was drunk at that time. They arrested her, pressed two charges against her, and released her next day on a bail of USD 3000 per charge.

However, she pleaded not guilty of the charges. Additionally, later, Alex stated that she was on certain medications and the violent behavior was due to change in those medicines.

By August 2022, the two were publicly demonstrating an affection for each other in Erika’s hometown, Omaha, Nebraska. And now comes the news of their separation and divorce.

Alex Jones’ past marriage and career problems

Alex had an earlier marriage to Kelly Nichols, 56 who is an American animal activist. They wed in 2007 and have three children together: two daughters and one son. However, the couple separated and divorced in 2015. Kelly had stated that Alex is mentally ill and needs protection from himself as well as from others around him.

Alex’s show Infowars is also in the doldrums. The platform is facing bankruptcy auction and Alex is trying to save it. Alex’s company owes USD 1.5 billion to families of victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting who filed defamation cases against him. The sale proceeds would be very less compared to the amount he has to pay them.

Additionally, in March 2025, an Infowars reporter, Jamie White was murdered at midnight outside his South Austin apartment and no one has been arrested yet. Alex said on it:
