Nicole Murphy was born on 5th January 1968 in Sacramento. She is 52 years old at present. She is the daughter of Eddie T. “Mitch” Mitchell and Ellen Mitchell. Her father was a pilot. She has three siblings, all younger brothers.

Nicole worked as an actress and has appeared in a few different films and series, most recently Just Love, which was released in 2006. She has also worked as a model. She began working as a model from the age of 13.

3) Ex-husband Eddie Murphy

Nicole Mitchell Murphy was married to Eddie Murphy. They met each other at an NAACP Image Awards Show in 1988. After some time, they started dating. They also lived together for two years.

They walked down the aisle on 18th March 1993 in the Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Their marriage went well till 2006.

They separated due to high conflicts and misunderstandings. She filed for divorce in August 2005 and their divorce was finalized on 17th April 2006.

When she filed for divorce a man Troy Stratis conned in the divorce settlement. He was arrested for fraud in 2011.

She and Troy had known each other for 34 years and she agreed to let him manage her money after he promised he’d invest it in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

4) Ex-fiance

After her divorce from her husband Eddie, she started dating footballer Michael Strahan. They were together for 5 years and were engaged as well.

But their relationship did not go well and they called off their engagement. They separated in 2014 due to a busy schedule.

5) Spotted kissing Antione Fuqua

In September 2019, Nicole was spotted kissing a married man. That man was none other than director Antione Fuqua.

After that, her first public statement said that the pair were just family friends extending a “friendly hello.” After that, she took the statement back and apologized to his wife Lela.

Nicole revealed,

“Trust me, I wish it didn’t happen. It was a moment where I should’ve thought more through the situation, made better judgments, you know, so it’s something that I apologize for.”

6) Children and Grandchildren

Nicole and Eddie were parents of five children. She and Eddie welcomed first child Bria in 1989, second Miles in 1993, Shayne Audra in 1994, Zola Ivy in 1999, and Bella Zahra in 2002.

At present, she has a grandchild from Miles Murphy and his wife. Her granddaughter Evie was born in 2019.
